Peer Support

What is peer support, and how does it work?

Peer support is when people who have gone through similar experiences come together to share, listen, and support one another. Instead of advice from an outsider, it’s care and understanding from someone who truly “gets it.” In a peer support setting, you can talk openly, exchange coping strategies, and feel less alone in what you’re going through. A trained facilitator or moderator is present to gently guide the conversation, making sure the space stays safe, respectful, and supportive for everyone.

Is peer support anonymous?

Yes, you can participate in peer support anonymously to maintain privacy and feel comfortable sharing your thoughts.

How do I join a sharing circle?

You can join a sharing circle here.
